Father’s Day Blackberry and Blueberry Picking

We’ll open for pick-your-own blackberry and blueberry picking on Father’s Day Sunday, June 15 by appointment only. We will have evening sessions at 5:45 pm and 6:45 pm. However, we will not open if it is raining or lightning at the orchard at the designated time.

Recent rainstorms have softened the parking area, so we can accommodate only so many vehicles at a time. The orchard is good for foot traffic. Bring your muck boots or old shoes.

Available for picking:

blackberries: thornless varieties including Ponca, Osage, Ouachita, Arapaho. Kiowa is thorny, but has excellent fruit.

blueberries: midseason rabbiteye varieties including Climax, Premier, Austin, Brightwell. We’re picked out of Pink Lemonade for the season.

All berries are $10 a quart or $40 a gallon. You only pay for what you pick (no entry fee). We accept cash (preferred), Venmo, and credit cards.

We provide picking buckets and transfer the picked berries to take-home containers. Frequent visitors may be interested in our Waughsome Farm “Golden Bucket“.

We are a no-smoking farm. We cannot allow pets into the orchard.
