Blackberry and Blueberry Picking
We’ll open the orchard for pick-your-own blackberry and blueberry picking on Saturday, June 13 from 8 am to 10:30 am am. Field closes at 11:00 am.
We may require reservations if we get a lot of rain and our unpaved parking area gets muddy. If so, we will post the link right here to register 24 hours before the pick. There’s no rain in the forecast so it will probably be an open pick, but check back here just in case.
The season is starting to wind down as we are just reaching the end of peak season. Blackberries are still plentiful, but blueberries are starting to wind down. You’ll be able to find blueberries but it will take more hunting and diligence to fill up your bucket.
Available for picking:
blackberries: thornless blackberry varieties on the farm are producing ripe fruit, including Arapaho, Caddo, Osage, Ouachita, and Ponca. Kiowa is our only thorned variety, but the berries are so big and sweet that they are worth the trouble.
blueberries: Rabbiteye varieties are available including Climax, Premier, Austin, Brightwell, Powderblue and Tifblue. The Pink Lemonades are picked out for the season.
New for 2026 season: we will start selling picked fruit by weight: $8 a pound.
Blueberries and blackberries are $8 a pound. You only pay for what you pick (no entry fee). We accept cash (preferred), credit cards and Venmo. When paying by cash, we round down to the nearest dollar.
New for 2026 season: we will start providing bags to put in the buckets. Then we will have an easy way to weigh the produce. You can take the bags home or transfer the picked berries to take-home containers.
We are a no-smoking farm. We cannot allow pets.
