Blackberry and Blueberry Picking

We’ll open the orchard for pick-your-own blackberry and blueberry picking on Saturday, June 20 from 8 am to 10:30 am am. Field closes at 11:00 am or when we run out of ripe fruit.

We will require reservations for this pick, as the season begins to wind down. We will post the link to register 24 hours in advance. There’s a chance we will cancel this pick if there is not enough ripe fruit – as this is around the time we close for the season – but we won’t know for sure until a day in advance.

The season is starting to wind down as we are just reaching the end of the season. Blackberries are still plentiful, but blueberries are winding down. You may be able to find some blueberries, but it will be hard picking.

Available for picking:

blackberries: thornless blackberry varieties on the farm are producing ripe fruit, including Arapaho, Caddo, Osage, Ouachita. Kiowa is our only thorned variety, but the berries are so big and sweet that they are worth the trouble. Ponca is usually our favorite but it’s starting to suffer from blight in the late season.

blueberries: Mostly our late season rabbiteyes, including Powderblue and Tifblue. The Pink Lemonades are picked out for the season.

New for 2026 season: we will start selling picked fruit by weight: $8 a pound.

Blueberries and blackberries are $8 a pound. You only pay for what you pick (no entry fee). We accept cash (preferred), credit cards and Venmo. When paying by cash, we round down to the nearest dollar.

New for 2026 season: we will start providing bags to put in the buckets. Then we will have an easy way to weigh the produce. You can take the bags home or transfer the picked berries to take-home containers.

We are a no-smoking farm. We cannot allow pets.
